Lorry collides with tree in Buxton
A busy Buxton road had to be closed after a lorry collided with a tree this afternoon (Friday).
The accident happened at around 2.15pm on Dale Road when the Scania tanker hit the tree, uprooting it and an old gas main which is no longer in use.
A telegraph pole and two further trees were also damaged.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured and the road has now re-opened.
