Members of a Peak District club for senior citizens, which was formed more than half a century ago, have held their last ever meeting.

Founded by Dorothy Wain in 1958 and latterly run by her daughter, June Wildgoose, the club closed before Christmas.

At the final meeting, June presented each member with a piece of cut glass, engraved with their name, and the name of the club.

Over the years, the club has enjoyed 72 holidays and days out too numerous to mention.
