They are:

A spokesperson for said: "It makes you wonder what on earth people were thinking of when they came up with the name of these roads years ago.

"There's more than 170,000 words in the English dictionary, so why did these make the cut? They're definitely a far cry from the straightforward Station Roads and Church Streets of the country.

"But the people we feel most sorry for are the residents living on these roads. They must get tired of the stifled laughs when they tell people they live on Fanny Avenue!"
