LANTERN-making workshops are now well underway at Bolsover Castle for the annual lantern parade.
People can create their own designs then show them off on December 3 at 5pm, when the main festivities and parade begins.
This year will be a special event as the project organisers are working with two new artists who will bring interactive works to the day.
The workshops are free and run every weekend at the castle from now until November 26-27.
Junction Arts project coordinator Jane Wells said: “It’s fun to go to. It’s a popular event and it should be really lovely. The castle is a beautiful setting so that is quite spectacular in itself.”
