Light shines on winter security
A security campaign to help Dales residents protect themselves against crime is being rolled out this week.
The annual Operation Illuminate drive sees police officers and council staff offer advice and cut-price security kit.
Inspector Rich Booth said: “Our aim is to protect the public from crime and this is just one of the ways in which we strive to do this.”
