LETTER: There is good in this world

editorial image

On Monday, November 16, at about 11am, I fell on Packers Row in Chesterfield.
I would like to thank the group of good Samaritans who came to the help of a complete stranger. They put me in the recovery position, put tissues under my bleeding nose, wrapped me in coats, called an ambulance and went to hunt for my husband whom they managed to find.

We read in the news of so much evil in the world today but it is uplifting to know that there are still people who are ready to come to the help of a complete stranger.

If you happen to be one of them please accept the deep gratitude of my husband and myself.
