LETTER: Pick up after your horse

Horse droppings in Temple Normanton (Illegible word) to the email sent by Andy in Derbyshire Times recently, I am in full agreement with his comments.

I go through Temple Normanton to Chesterfield regularly by car and I note with disgust the amount of horse droppings on the pavement.

Quite a long stretch of the course way from the village, out past the garage on the road to Heath has been divided into designated areas, half for pedestrians and half for cyclists.

I do not use this path for walking or cycling, but I feel very sorry for people who do, as there is always at least two piles of horse droppings, all the time.

The horse riders should be made to pick it up, not leave it for the rain to clear away.
