LETTER: Hope ‘common thief’ in Chesterfield enjoyed my grapes

To the person who stole my bag of shopping from under a friend’s stall on the Thursday flea market in Chesterfield.

I do hope you enjoyed the bottle of water, newspapers, holiday brochures and grapes.

Were these items really worth you acting as a common thief? What a big disappointment for you, I am sorry I couldn’t have left you some richer pickings.

PS. There is a good business opportunity for someone to run a shopping crèche or some small lockers in which shopping could be left to ease the burden of carrying it around shops for hours.

I would willingly pay for such a service.
