BIG-HEARTED BRM solicitors in Chesterfield have chosen to support the British Heart Foundation’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal as their charity of the year.
Solicitor Anna Cattee, of BRM, on Saltergate, said: “I wanted to get involved with BHF following the death of my father and BRM’s former managing partner Michael MacDonald who sadly passed away in February 2009.
“We are hoping to raise £10,000 for the nation’s heart charity by the end of 2012 by doing various fundraising events throughout the year involving staff, friends and clients alike.”
Sophie Jardine, BHF Fundraising Volunteer Manager in Chesterfield, said: “The Mending Broken Hearts Appeal is one of our most ambitious projects ever.”
