Lead stolen from Peak District churches

Police are appealing for information after lead was stolen from churches in Eyam and Monyash.

Overnight between Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29, offenders climbed onto the roof of Eyam Parish Church on Church Street, Eyam and stole lead flashing.

A similar incident took place at St Leonards Church on Church Street, Monyash overnight between Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16.

Anyone with any information about either incident is asked to contact PCSO Anthony Boswell on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
