Theft

Billy Lee Moyes, 26, of Muskham Avenue, Ilkeston: Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a wallet and contents. Pleaded guilty to stealing chocolate bars belonging to Aldi Stores, on Manor Road, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to damaging a window belonging to Aldi Stores Ltd, on Manor Road, Ilkeston. Committed to prison for eight weeks. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. No separate penalty. Previous community order revoked.

Other

Michelle Laura Teresa King, 33, of Grosvenor Avenue, Long Eaton: Previous community order revoked. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to the community order of harassment by sending messages by Facebook and attending a home and posting print-outs of messages. Community order to last until July 3, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £30.

Nathan Keen, 21, of Nathaniel Road, Long Eaton: Admits failing to comply with the community requirement of a suspended sentence order. Suspended sentence imposed for two assaults varied to 24 weeks of custody suspended for 12 months with a curfew for two months with electronic monitoring.

Christopher Leslie Marsden, 43, of Laurel Crescent, Long Eaton: Admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. Community order varied with five hours of unpaid work and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement to continue.

Joseph Eric Booth, 57, of Victory Lane, Long Eaton: Indicated a guilty plea to failing to notify Erewash Borough Council of a change of circumstances that he knew would affect his entitlement to housing benefit in that he was working. Indicated a guilty plea to failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances affecting entitlement to Employment Support Allowance in that he was working. Community order to last until July 5, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Damage

Connor James John Sowersby, 20, of Critchley Street, Ilkeston: Pleaded guilty to damaging a pool table belonging to The Spring Cottage. Must pay £200 compensation and £85 costs. Admits committing an offence while subject to a community order for two counts of criminal damage. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of damage which were subject to the community order including damaging a Toyota Yaris and a rear engine cover lock belonging to Trent Barton. Pleaded guilty to damaging a Ford Ka to the value of £120. Must pay £120 compensation. Committed to detention for three months suspended for 12 months with an Alcohol Treatment Requirement, a six-week curfew and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Megan Turner, 58, of Lock Close, 
Ilkeston: Found guilty of destroying a TV aerial cable to the value of approximately £100. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

Assault

Stephen Illiffe, 43, of Manners Road, Ilkeston: Pleaded guilty to assault. Must pay £50 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge. Committed to prison for four months.
