Nigel Finch, 23, of Parkland Mews, Long Eaton: Pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a police constable. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge. Indicated a guilty plea to producing a quantity of cannabis. Admits committing a further offence during a suspended sentence for an offence of assault. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence of assault which was subject to the suspended sentence. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Thomas Andrew McGee, 58, of Central Avenue, Sandiacre: Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £40 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to a further charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place. No separate penalty.

Derek Espie, 63, of Queen Elizabeth Way, Ilkeston: Indicated a guilty plea to two counts of making a statement to the Department for Work and Pensions, with a view to obtaining Income Support, which was false in that he failed to provide information that he was receiving a pension or an annuity. Discharged conditionally for two years. Must pay a £15 victim services surcharge. Must pay £85 costs.

Joshua Pollard, 20, of May Street, Ilkeston: Pleaded guilty to using violence for the purpose of securing entry into premises knowing that there was someone present. Sentenced to a 12-month community order with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 100 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order to last until June 27, 2018. Must pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 2.8grammes of amphetamine. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a 12 month conditional discharge for the offences of false representation and theft. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a conditional discharge of fraud by false representation in that she tried to return a top and coat to Asda which she had stolen from them previously to make a gain of £47. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a conditional discharge of stealing a pair of jeans. Sentenced to a 12 month community order with a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
