James Alexander Aitken, 28, of St John’s Road, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Community order to last until June 1, 2016, with rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a court charge of £150. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Matthew James Robinson, 21, Wren Park Close, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Community order to last until June 1, 2016, with a rehabilitation activity requirement and to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge. Disqualified from driving for three years. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty.

Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months with a Thinking Skills Programme and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to obtaining a benefit or income support by making a false statement to the Department for Work and Pensions that she was living with a man in otherwise than prescribed circumstances. Pleaded guilty to obtaining a benefit or housing and council tax benefit by making a false statement to the Department for Work and Pensions that she was living in the same household as a man otherwise than in prescribed circumstances. Community order to last until June 1, 2016, with 200 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Andrew Brown, 40, of No Fixed Address. Found guilty of using threatening behaviour. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £500 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Indicated a guilty plea to making a false statement to the Department for Work and Pensions with a view to obtaining a benefit for another person in that he failed to disclose an entitlement to capital and exceeded the prescribed limits. Committed to prison for 12 months suspended for 12 months and must complete 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £100 costs.
