'Large amount of cash' stolen from Derbyshire supermarket

Police are investigating a burglary at a north Derbyshire supermarket.

Officers were called to reports of a burglary of the Co-op supermarket in Eckington at 3.40am on Friday, December 14.

The offenders stole cigarettes, a large quantity of cash and CCTV equipment, Derbyshire police said.
