A CAREERS and skills advice service is celebrating its first anniversary and are continuing to offer support for adults aged 19 and over.
The Government-backed Next Step service has helped 14,439 people across Derbyshire gain careers, develop skills and benefit from advice and support.
It helps with face-to-face advice, careers and skills tips over the telephone and via its website, Twitter and Facebook pages.
East Midlands Next Step adviser Marcia Goddard said: “In difficult economic times people need to take all the help they can get to secure a job and our service is completely free to help people in Derbyshire.”
Customers can access over 750 different job profiles on the Next Step website and they can also undertake a skills health check and build a CV online.
