Folk star Isla St Clair is to headline a concert in Chesterfield.

Regarded as one of Britain’s foremost traditional singers, she will be singing in Club Chesterfield, off Chester Street, this Friday, April 15.

Isla has been a singer all her life and became a recording artist at the age of 12.

She shot to national fame as a hostess on The Generation Game, before going on to produce and present television programmes and working with charities and remembrance organisations.

Isla tops the bill at the concert, hosted by Chesterfield Folk Club, and will be supported by singer/guitarist Bob Barratt.
