IDIOTIC: Object thrown from Chesterfield bridge damages passing car

Police are appealing for information after an object was thrown from a Chesterfield bridge, damaging a car below.

At around 6.05pm on Tuesday, August 9, a Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along the A61 in Chesterfield when an object was thrown from the bridge above, causing damage to the windscreen.

A man, described as white, aged in his late teens to early 20s, with blonde hair, was seen to be stood on the bridge going from Corporation Street towards the Chesterfield Hotel, and may be responsible for the damage.
