Iconic ladies - including Queen - showcased as part of Derbyshire scarecrow trail

Iconic women are being showcased as part of a scarecrow trail in a Derbyshire village.

The people of Heath have come together to make the scarecrows which depict famous ladies including the Queen, Audrey Hepburn, Cilla Black and Marilyn Monroe.

It comes in the year of the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act 1918.

This was legislation which enabled all men and some women over the age of 30 to vote for the first time and paved the way for universal suffrage 10 years later.

The scarecrows, which have been well-received, were made for Heath's wells dressing festival.
