Hunt is on for Chesterfield racist who shouted abuse

The 56-year-old man was walking up the stairs leading from Peveril Road to Flamsteed Crescent when he was approached by a man who shouted racist abuse at him and pushed him.

The victim was left upset and shaken by the incident, which happened at around 2pm on Monday, February 15.

Police have tried to trace the man by checking local CCTV and doing house-to-house inquiries but he has yet to be identified.

He is white, 5ft 11ins tall, in his early 20s and slim. He wore a blue jacket and blue jeans.
