Household items stolen in Matlock burglary

Burglars stole a vacuum cleaner, an iron and cleaning products after breaking into a house in Matlock.

Police have issued a security warning to Blackpool and Fylde residents

The offenders broke in through the back door of a property in Wellington Street between 10pm on Saturday, August 23, and 7am on Sunday, August 24.

They then searched the address and stole items including a Hoover vacuum cleaner, an iron, a small amount of cash, cleaning products and a handbag.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area of Wellington Street or nearby Wellfield around the time of the offence.
