House fire in Hathersage
Firefighters from Hathersage and Bradwell were called into action yesterday (Wednesday) following reports of a ‘burning smell’ in a home.
Upon arrival, at 8.15pm, there was a confirmed fire in a bedroom inside the property on Crossland Road, Hathersage.
Crews used breathing apparatus to get inside the house and use two hose-reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
An ambulance was called to treat one of the residents and a fire investigation was carried out.
