High value bikes stolen from garage in High Peak

One of the bikes which was stolen from a property in Hayfield, Derbyshire. Police are appealing for information.

Thieves gained entry to a garage along Wood Lane in Hayfield by prising open the door, causing damage, between 11pm on Sunday, May 8 and 8am on Monday, May 9,

Once inside, the offenders carried out an untidy search before making off with four high value pedal bikes.

This included a purple coloured Scott E-Genius bike which is very rare in the UK, along with a red and white coloured Scott Addict Team Issue.

Two Scott Scale R C 2016 model bikes were also stolen, one of which was green in colour and the other white and yellow.

Police are urging anyone with any information about the thefts, or who may have been offered a similar bike for sale, to contact them.
