A breast cancer charity have launched an urgent appeal for people to join their team and volunteer at the Chatsworth Pink Ribbonwalk.

If you want to contribute to Breast Cancer Care’s fundraising drive without signing up for the walk itself, then joining the charity’s Walk Force is a great way to get involved.

Lucy Johnston, UK Walks Manager at Breast Cancer Care says: “We are very excited to be bringing the Pink Ribbonwalk to Chatsworth, it is set to be a wonderful day spent in beautiful surroundings and stunning scenery.

“Our Walk Force volunteers play an integral role to the success of each event; we simply couldn’t do it without them. Volunteering at the Pink Ribbonwalk is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and be part of an uplifting and emotional event. And you don’t have to go it alone. Why not get some friends involved to join the fun?”

The charity are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated volunteers to help them deliver a fantastic event which is taking place at Chatsworth for the first time this year.

There are many different roles to be filled on the day including marshalling the route, registering in walkers and cheering them across the finishing line.

For more information and to register as a Walk Force volunteer please visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk/walk or email rwassistant@breastcancercare.org.uk.
