Hathersage robber investigation - cops appeal to phone users
Officers investigating the robbery at The Royal Bank of Scotland, in Main Road, Hathersage, on February 20, would like to speak to anyone in the village who used their mobile between 9am and 9.05am.
The Mercury asked the police to explain why they were making the appeal, however they would not say.

Hide AdAt around 9am on the day in question, two men threatened bank staff with a silver hand gun and a crowbar before making off with a substantial amount of money.
Officers have been distributing flyers and making house–to–house enquiries.
