Hat-tastic event to raise cash for Headway

It was a hat-tastic Friday at Spencers Solicitors as staff helped raise cash and awareness for charity Headway.

Spencers’ serious personal injury, medical negligence, employment and wills and probate teams held a ‘hats for Headway’ cake bake in support of Headway North Derbyshire in association the national brain injury organisation.

Spencers employees, family, friends and most importantly survivors of brain injury, had a fun day wearing silly hats, enjoying a cake bake, raffle and prize for the best hat. In the process £317 was raised for the charity.

A spokesperson at Spencers, based in Chesterfield, said: “Headway North Derbyshire is a fantastic organisation, and if you, or a family member have been affected by brain injury, they have much to offer, including friendly advice, guidance and a variety of regular social gatherings. It was great to speak to some of those who have made use of the support provided by Headway, with many of them saying they don’t know what they would have done without Headway.”
