Gruelling bike ride for charity

TWO cyclists raised pots of cash for charity when they took part in a gruelling sponsored bike ride.

Big-hearted Eckington men David Speed and James Dye cycled 180 miles from Eckington to Skegness earlier this week.

The pair – who were supported by a team of fundraisers along the way – raised almost £5,000 for Help for Heroes.

The charity supports servicemen and women who have been injured in Britain’s current conflicts across the globe.
