CROWDS flocked to fun-filled Grindleford Carnival at the weekend.
Scores of families descended upon the Peak District village for an afternoon of sheer delight on Saturday.
Fancy dress competitions, a pipe band and a magic show were just some of the treats to entertain those who braved the unseasonable weather.
Stephen Blowen, chair of Grindleford Carnival, said: “All the planning and hard work paid off.
“We’d like to thank the committee, residents and local sponsors who made the carnival such a success.”
