Golden celebration for couple
Childhood sweethearts Trevor and Valerie Hobson will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday – 50 years after they tied the knot at Bakewell Registry Office.
Trevor, 68, is a retired lorry driver who was born in Bonsall, and Valerie, 66, is a former postal clerk born in Cromford.
They have five children, 12 grandchildren and nine great–grandchildren.
