Furry felines need a home
First up is ten-year-old Solstice. He was abandoned at Cats Protection Derby Adoption Centre on the shortest day of the year – which was the inspiration behind his name.
He now hopes to make a new start to life and is looking for a second chance. He is a friendly character who loves lots of fuss, and who always jumps up to greet visitors.

The centre’s marketing and publicity officer Gail Newport, said Jemima is “An absolute sweetie who enjoys a fuss, but will let you know when she has had enough. “She would probably suit a quieter home where she was the only cat.”
Five-year-old Scottie is also in need of a home. He was a stray before being taken into the centre.
He is a friendly boy who will have a fuss and head rub, although can appear a little shy initially. Scottie is just looking for some TLC and a second chance.

A new baby in the family meant Jess needed a new home – ideally a quiet one due t her being nervous.
