French film showcase prepares group for twinning trip

At the end of May, members of the Matlock Eaubonne Twinning Association will make their way to Eaubonne, to be hosted by friends there. During the trip they will be visiting the pearl museum in Méru and the National Canal Navigation Museum in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, as well as taking a cruise on the River Oise.

In 1992 Matlock Town Council signed a twinning agreement with Eaubonne Town Council.

Each year one or other ofthe towns hosts an exchange of visitors, and many lasting friendships have been developed asa result. The group is currently working on ways to bring the children of the primary schools together by using the schools’ blogs.
