FIREFIGHTERS had to cut off the roofs of vehicles to free people trapped after a smash.
They used hydraulic equipment to release two people after two saloon cars and one mini bus were in collision on Foljambe Road, Chesterfield, at about 4pm on Monday.
The two released by Staveley and Chesterfield crews had suspected spinal and neck injuries.
The ambulance service had previously rescued two people. All four were taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Police were informed and fire officers left the scene at 5.41pm.
