Former Chesterfield schoolboy and England World Cup star Harry Maguire is being linked with a huge £65m move to Manchester United.

The 25-year-old, who attended St Mary's Catholic High School, currently plays for Leicester City.

Maguire was one England's stand-out performers in the World Cup in Russia and received high praise from TV pundits.

The defender scored his first goal for the Three Lions in the 2-0 quarter-final win against Sweden.

National football journalists are today reporting that Manchester United have made an approach for Maguire and are willing to pay £65million for him. But Leicester City have reportedly said they are not willing to sell him and are hoping to offer him a new deal.
