Flat fire in Ripley
Firefighters attended a home last night as a fire took hold of a flat above a high street shop.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said they were called to the flat fire on Oxford Street Ripley just before 10pm last night and crews from both Ripley and Alfreton attended the fire.
Nobody was injured and firefighters used two hose-reel jets to extinguish the fire before ventilating the property.
Police were also in attendance.
