Firefighters tackle flat fire in Chesterfield
Firefighters were called to tackle a flat fire in Chesterfield last night.
Teams from Staveley, Clay Cross and Chesterfield used six sets of breathing apparatus during the operation at the first floor flat on Derby Road at 8.10pm.
The police and ambulance services were informed.
Firefighters ventilated the property and left the scene at 8.45pm.
A fire investigation is taking place this morning.
