Firefighters tackle cooker fire in Heanor

Firefighters were called to extinguish a fire in a cooker in Heanor.

Crews from Heanor were mobilised to a house on Huftons Drive today(Friday October 26) at 12.07pm after a smoke alarm went off.

Crews used breathing apparatus hosereels and a ventilation fan during the operation.
