Firefighters called to cow stuck in canal

Firefighters have rescued a cow stuck in a canal near Doncaster.

Fire crews were called to Bramwith Lane, South Bramwith at 7.35am this morning.

The owner of the cow was also at the scene and the RSPCA has been notified.

Crews from Thorne, Adwick, Edlington and Aston Park fire stations are all involved in the rescue.

They used a boat and ropes to tether the cow.
