Firefighters called out after smoke plumes out of Chesterfield traffic bollard

Firefighters were called out to North Wingfield after smoke began pluming from a traffic bollard.

Crews from Clay Cross arrived at the scene, on Chesterfield Road, at 6.10pm last night (Monday, December 17).

They used a C02 extinguisher to stop the smoke.

Derbyshire Police and Highways also attended the incident.
