Firefighters were called to tackle a house fire in Buxton.

Crews from Buxton attended the blaze on Oaklea at 5.53pm yesterday and used one hosereel to extinguish it.

In a separate incident, Buxton firefighters tackled a chimney fire on Hartington Road Buxton and had to use an aerial ladder platform to tackle it, at around 8.18pm
