Firefighters attend rubbish fire in Whitwell

Firefighters were called out to a rubbish fire in Whitwell.

Firefighters rushed to the scene.

Firefighters rushed to the scene.

Crews from Clowne arrived at the scene, off Station Road, at around 11.30pm last night (Wednesday, August 23).

They found approximately 2m x 2m of rubbish ‘well alight’.

Officers used a hose reel jet to deal with the blaze.

Nobody was hurt.
