Fire crews rescue trapped crash casualty in Ripley
Ripley and Alfreton firefighters freed a trapped casualty from the wreckage of a road traffic collision.
The three vehicle crash happened on Butterley Lane, at Ripley, about 1am, today, Saturday, October 3.
A Derbyshire fire services spokesman said: “One male was trapped in a vehicle and was freed by fire crews and passed to the ambulance service.”
The crash scene was made safe by about 1.50am.
Witnesses to the collision are urged to call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101.
