Fire crews put out Bolsover building fire

Firefighters attended a building fire in Bolsover yesterday evening (Saturday, January 10).

Crews from Bolsover and Staveley attended a premises in New Station Road, Bolsover, at 7.30pm.

The building, measuring six metres by ten metres, was well alight.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, after which two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus stayed to damp down the area.

Police were also in attendance and the fire crews left after 9.30pm.
