Fire crews battled blaze at Codnor home
Firefighters extinguished an out-of-control chimney blaze at a home in Codnor.
The fire was discovered at the property on Nottingham Road, about 10am, on Monday, February 9.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “The chimney fire at the property was well alight.”
Alfreton firefighters used a hose reel jet and a roof crawler ladder to put out the blaze and make the property safe by about 10.40am.
