Fewer jobseekers in Derbyshire, figures show

The number of people searching for work in Derbyshire has dropped, according to data released this morning.

Latest figures from the Office for National Statistics show that the number of Derbyshire people on work-related benefit in September was 15,328, 346 less than in August, which is a drop of 1.4 per cent.

It means that since the start of the year, the number of jobseekers in Derbyshire has fallen by 2,000.
