Feud led to brick attack

A TIBSHELF man feuding with a neighbour threw a brick at a car he was travelling in, a court heard.

Ben Archbold was in a car turning around in a cul-de-sac when Dean Boddey appeared, holding a large brick above his head. He threw it at the car, hitting the offside wing.

Boddey, of Lathkill Grove, Tibshelf, admitted damaging property and breaching a two-year conditional discharge imposed in August last year.

He was given a six-month probation supervision order.

Stacey White, for Boddey, alleged that Mr Archbold had threatened his family.

He complained to police about it but they did not send an officer out to see him.

“This is clearly a neighbour issue where he has taken matters into his own hands,” said Ms White.
