Fair's supporters raise funds for Springbank House Care Home residents

The event at Springbank House Care Home, on Ashgate Road, included cupcake and jumble stalls, a barbecue and refreshments.

Pony rides on the home’s garden were provided by Lollipop Pony Parties, who also brought a Shetland to visit residents inside the home.

The money will be added to the residents’ fund, which helps towards day trips and activities for those living at the care home.

Karen Busby, home manager, said: “I’d like to thank everyone, including the staff who worked so hard for the event to take place, and all the relatives that donated and supported on the day.

“A special thank you goes to all the little ones who helped out. It was a great family fun day.

“Once again, a big heartfelt thank you to all who continue to support us.”
