ESSENTIAL INFORMATION: Changes to Derbyshire bin collections over Christmas

It’s Christmas week and Derbyshire residents are being advised of changes to their bin collections during the festive period.

Here’s all the information you need to know.

High Peak

December 24 - A small number of rural properties with black bin collections due on December 24 will have a collection on December 22 instead. Affected properties will be notified via a sticker on the black bin,

December 25 - Brown bin collections will take place on Monday December 28 while black bin collections will be on December 24.

January 1 - Brown bin collections due on New Year’s Day will take place on January 2 while black bin collections will take place on December 31.

There will be no green-lidded bin collections during the weeks commencing December 21 and 28.

Chesterfield

Collections due:

On December 23 will be made on December 22

On December 24 will be made on December 23

On December 25 will be made on December 24

On January 1 will be made on January 2

Collections due on December 28, 29 and 30 will be made as usual.

Erewash

Collections due on December 25 will take place on December 24
