Erewash MP Maggie Throup helps to deliver festive cheer

MP Maggie Throup helped to deliver festive cheer to workers at Royal Mail’s Ilkeston and Long Eaton delivery offices. Maggie was shown around by Ilkeston delivery office manager Matthew Morley and Long Eaton delivery office manager Emma Foster. She was introduced to the postmen and women who have worked hard sorting and delivering mail during the festive season – the busiest time of year. Maggie said: “There is a huge amount of effort an dedication that does into delivering a first class Christmas and New Year, and it was great to meet the teams in Ilkeston and Long Eaton who make this possible.”
