Emergency services attend two-car crash in Baslow

Two people were treated for minor injuries after a crash on the A621 in Baslow this morning (Tuesday).

Emergency services were called to the area at just after 8.15am after a collision involving a Ford Fiesta and a Seat vehicle.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said: “We got a call at 8.18am with reports people were trapped and needed to be cut out.

“Thankfully, no one was trapped.”
Crews from Bakewell and Chesterfield attended the collision.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: “The collision was between a Ford Fiesta and Seat on the Baslow stretch of the A621.

“The drivers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.”
