Elderly Chesterfield lady injured in '˜road rage' incident

An 80-year-old woman has suffered hand injuries following a road rage incident in Chesterfield.

At around 3.15pm on Friday, October 14, the woman was driving along Ulverston Road when a car approached from the opposite direction.

She decided to pull in and let the car pass but the driver said he wanted her to reverse. He got out of his vehicle and became verbally abusive to her, taking her keys from the ignition.

The victim took her key back and as she did so, it cut her hand, causing bleeding and bruising.

She has described the driver as white, in his late 20s, with short, dark hair. He wore a jumper and a black leather jacket. He drove a black car.
