Former Derbyshire MP Edwina Currie is settling into jungle life as a contestant on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
The Whaley Bridge resident was a late arrival to camp after the departures of Coronation Street’s Craig Charles and TOWIE’s Gemma Collins.
But she has soon found her feet, after becoming part of the Celebrity Intelligence Agency (CIA) alongside fellow new arrival The X Factor’s Jake Quickenden.
The pair then recruited former footballer Jimmy Bullard and Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson to also join the CIA and the four of them have been carrying out secret tasks to earn care packages filled with luxury items and treats from home for the camp mates.
Being part of the CIA means Edwina is currently immune from being voted to do a Bushtucker Trial.
The 68-year-old has previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Wife Swap and Come Dine with Me.
Catch the latest episode of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here tonight on ITV at 9pm.
